Firstly, high fives on outsourcing this behemoth. Let me be the first to reassure you – you’re not alone in finding writing your own About page hair-pullingly frustrating. Let me also say straight up – it’s not unusual to be a little bit hesitant about getting someone else to write your backstory. The number 1 question I’m asked is “how do you write my About page in my voice?” The answer has a couple of moving parts but pretty much boils down to:

  1. I have a weird and magical mix of stalkery and empathy that allows me to read between the words you’re saying and writing to find the words you mean

  2. About pages are my favourite things to write in the world so I’ve had about a million words of practice

The form below helps me figure out how to best give you what you need. The more information you chuck at me, the better. There’s no such thing as oversharing in Crisp Copy Land. You can ignore any questions that aren’t relevant to you and please, don’t stress about proper sentence structure and spelling!

What happens now. Once this form hits my inbox, I’ll get back to you over email within 48 hours with a quote and/or to request a time to chat for further information. I’ll also let you know if, for any reason, I can’t write your About page with a suggestion for someone else who can.

If we decide to go ahead, I have a 4 – 6 week lead time from the moment your booking is finalised until I begin on your project. It might seem like a bit of a wait, but I promise you there’ll be some steps to take so you get the very best out of me (and; I’m well worth it!)
