 I’m a working copywriter and copy mentor who in 6 short years has dragged my brand from barely-born to charging out at one of the highest hourly rates for freelance copywriters in Australia. I started with $0 and a borrowed laptop and now I’m invited to speak all over the globe about copy and branding.

Fairly quickly, I found an uncanny knack to teach other people how to make theirs do the same. I’m a natural Mentor/Teacher with a lifetime (started at 2) of experience on the stage, so when my Crisp Copy Class Alumni, Ruth, said “that woman could talk about toilet seats and I’d still come back for more” I guess it was my years on the stage which helped tickle her fancy.

I’m 50/50 introverted and extrovert according to the fancy online personality tests and although I’m fiercely competitive, I found when it came to helping other women write the copy stuck between their hearts and fingertips – I just couldn’t help myself. For a couple of years, I kept that knowledge for my 1:1 mentoring clients, then, in 2018 I launched a new online class – keeping costs lower than 1:1 training or outsourcing – for those on a budget while still maintaining a ripper level of expert advice and learning. What dates will I need to turn up live?

Showstopping kicks off in March 2021.

There’ll be a warm up week to begin with, where you can stretch and collate everything you need to tackle this course brilliantly (don’t worry, I’ll send you through all the steps so you’re not making them up!) This will probably include reviewing your Brand Voice Development work (if you’ve done the CCC) and catching up with that work if you haven’t.

I’ll also be in the private FB group to take you through your paces and ensure you have a really clear vision of what it is you want to sell on this page, and how.

You’ll also get access to a calendar through MemberVault you can input into your own online scheduler so you’ll get a ping when live classes are on.

Your first draft of your new Sales Page is due Monday 19th April if you’d like your copy reviewed. All reviews will be recorded and sent to you ASAP and uploaded to the MV site (unless you specifically ask me not to!)

How much time will the course take?
So, you noticed the price wasn’t $400 +  per hour, right? That’s because I’m not going to do it for you and there’s some work needed from your end. Anything good either needs time or money invested in it – this is an affordable course because it requires you to dig in at least once a week and put aside a couple of hours to do the work.

We’ll be together for 5 weeks with 1 week of warm up before we kick off. So if you can make sure you’ve an hour to watch the pre-recorded content, then an hour to attend the Q&As (or watch them back later within the week) plus at least an hour to implement the lessons in order to keep up with the rest of the cast, that’d be perfect.

But, don’t worry if life gets in the way. You have access to the course content for as long as I’m in business and the Sales Page course exists (and I’ve no plans of ever being employable again). The Facebook group will be archived the week after we finish up.

I can't make all the live Q&A sessions, does it matter?
Absolutely not!

I live in the wilds of the Perth Hills – one of the most isolated cities in the world. I certainly don’t expect you to stay awake until 2am your time to catch live sessions (unless you’re a night-owl-vampire like I am!)

As long as submit by the deadline, and you’ve done the work from the week before, I’ll get stuck into your question and record all the Q&A sessions. They go up into the member platform that day, and you can watch them back at a time appropriate for your life. Then, if you need further clarification, you can access me via our private FB group.

How long will I get access to the course?
For the lifetime of my business.

I’m planning for that to be a very long time, my friend.

Every lesson of every course I run is recorded and uploaded to the member’s only platform. You’ll have access to that for the life of the course.

There's so much info online for people writing their own copy. Can't I just follow all that advice?
Heck, yes!

If you want to learn to write a Sales page but you’re not 100% set on what you’re offering yet, that’s OK. As long as you have a good idea of what you might be offering you can use this time as a practice run, write yourself a ripper template, and when you have settled on exactly what it is you’ll be selling – just change out the details.
