“When you get wealth into the hands of women, you don’t just change your community locally, you make an international and global change”
Human to Human Marketing – Angela Henderson
So Crisp Podcast
Kick ass businessing and maintaining of an actual life. That’s what my guest today promises the women who work with her.
It’s a big promise.
Because business alone is work enough. It’s more than a full time job, it’s a complete lifestyle and, often, a total lifechanging event.
Having a family is also more than a full time job. It’s every moment, every second, you eat sleep dream kiddos and money and kiddos and worries and schooling and feeding them properly and worrying about their relationships and trying to keep your marriage on track while your mission doesn’t suffer and remember a social life oh, and if you have them, don’t forget the kiddos.
And while some business coaches and online strategists believe in putting your best, most filtered, professionally dressed foot forward – Angela Henderson encourages us to scrap those beliefs daily.
Turn up as yourself.
Hoodies and eating nutella from the jar to boot.
She’s getting So Crisp with me today to talk about what she brings to the table – humanity.
The Crisp Takeaways

“I started Angela Henderson Consulting because I kept having these coffee dates. And I don’t even drink coffee. I’d drive half an hour there, pay for my own Diet Coke, and drive half an hour home. Then, I had the ‘AHA’ moment where I was like, hold on! If I were to charge for those 14 coffee dates as strategy sessions, I could have a second business income.”
<When I came on board with Queensland Government as a mentor> “the data showed, in Queensland Australia, that women were opening businesses at the same rate as men, but those businesses were failing much faster. I always knew that, but when you read it in your home state, it really hits home… women indicated they didn’t feel they had access to the tools, community, and support they needed to maintain or grow their businesses.”
“When you get wealth into the hands of women, you don’t just change your community locally, you make an international and global change. Women are more likely, when they have wealth themselves, they look at ways to give that back.”
“In the world that we live in, we’re told there’s two types of marketing: B2B or B2C… I believe the one thing people are missing out on is Human 2 Human marketing.”
“I’ve lived 1/3 of my life in Canada, 1/3 of my life in America, 1/3 of my life in Australia. By far, I can spend more money in the US and Canada than I could ever do here. They’ve reduced the barriers to purchasing. Where in Australia, we don’t have the coupons and discounts. Australia’s level of trust in social media is the world’s lowest.”
